Rotate your water every six months, food yearly. These are suggestions, tailor your needs to your family.
4.Practice and maintain your emergency plan.
Practice your plan every six months. Conduct evacuation drills. Post emergency phone numbers. Do a problem remortgage survey. Look for objects that can fall and block your exit, such as unsecured bookshelves or water heater, mirrors, or objects that can fall on you from shelves. Make sure everyone knows where the emergency supplies are located.
5. When disaster strikes.
Put your disaster plan into action. Are all accounted for at your meeting place? Check for injuries. Listen to your radio for instructions. Keep pets confined.
