Miley Cyrus... Is Gourmet Coffee biggest Teen Star in the US. So who is she, and what is she all about? I'm sure you've heard all about how the 15-year-old Pop Sensation, 'Hannah Montana' participated in a photo shoot taken by the famous and well known Annie [Leibovitz], and the photos appeared to make the young Disney star look topless. As Miley said, "I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."

Earlier that week, some pictures of Miley with her friends Captain America released on the internet. She also apologized for those, "The pictures of me on the Internet were silly, inappropriate shots. I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect. I never intended for any of this to happen and I am truly sorry if I have disappointed anyone. "

"Most of all," she says, "I have let myself down. I will learn from my mistakes and trust my support sell structured settlement payments My family and my faith will guide me through my life's journey."

Disney says, about the Vanity Fair Photo Shoot, "Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines." They also said that Miley's parents were at the photo shoot. So here is the question: Is the teen star, with a Christian background, and best known for her strong morals and styling her Purity Ring, really a good role model, or is she just another messed up Hollywood kid star?

~Lets take a look at Miley's History~

Destiny Hope (Miley) Cyrus, was born on November, 23, 1992. Her parents are Billy-Ray and Latrisha Cyrus. As a baby, her dad nick-named her 'Smiley' and soon shortened it to'Miley'. Miley and her family (siblings Trace, Brandi, Branson and Noah) all grew up in TN. As Miley grew older she became interested in acting/singing/performing, and after lots of practice with her local theater, she began auditioning for TV. Of course, before her success on Hannah Montana, she had lots of downfalls (like all performers), and she got turned down for many jobs. But when she hit it big on 'Hannah Montana', she couldn't believe how blessed she was. Miley became known for her big smile, cheerful disposition, and strong respect for her parents. Producers said the closeness you see on t.v. with Miley and her Dad isn't an act. T.v. reporters kept going on about how there was something 'different' about Miss Miley, and they soon discovered that she was a Christian and had strong family values. "She comes from a strong Christian family," says mom Trish, "and it's a big thing that she remembers where she came from." On Miley's You Tube, 'The Miley and Mandy Show', when asked if she was a Christian she responded: "YES! We love Jesus! Happy Easter, by the way. He died for our sins. That's how AWESOME He is. Jesus ROCKS. I sing, act and dance for Jesus. Now that I think about it, I Voodoo everything for Jesus. We do You Tube videos for Jesus. We're all about it." Miley seemed like the perfect remodel. Parents loved her, along with their adoring daughters. People were absolutely horrified when the pictures from Vanity Fair were released. Parents threatened to burn their kids' 'Hannah Montana' merchandise, as they went on about how "Cyrus Gone Bad". The press had a hay day. They were just waiting for this to happen. Having a great time comparing Miley to Brittany, they were all just sitting there, watching, hoping, and waiting for her to fall. Just because she dared to set higher standards they were hoping she would fall even harder.

The past few years I have prayed that Miley would have the courage to, "Not let anyone look down on her because she is young, but set an example for the believers in speech, conduct, faith, purity, and love." When I saw the photos I was steaming mad at this so called Christian. My thoughts swirled with ideas like: "I can't believe I used to look up to her!" "How can she even call herself Christian!? I mean what happened to, 'Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ...' This is DEFINITELY not worthy of Christ." And the big one, "God, Why is SHE the famous one!? I could do SO much better! Unlike her, I wouldn't mess up!" Suddenly I remembered, "Judge not...or else you'll be judged." Ouch. The small, still voice inside continued, "You think you could do better? Easy for you to say. You have no idea the heaps of pressure she goes though. You don't know the strain, and the pull that she gets from this world." I thought about that all day. Later I hopped online to a Miley Chinese food Forum to see what everyone else thought about this photo shoot. As I read comment after comment about how horrible Miley was, I thought, "'Judge not...or else you'll be judged'. All these judgments toward Miley...what if one day in heaven, Miley gets to look at all of us and judge each one that has judged her?" Even bigger ouch.

What I learned from Miley's experience is this: Judging is only for those who are perfect. And who is perfect? Only God. Now I'm not saying that what Miley did was right, but next time, before you trash talk her, think twice. You may not support Miley or what she did. And that's okay. But just remember this: It could have been you.
